ROCK HOUNDING WYOMING

Agate, Jasper, Jasperoid, Chalcedony, Quartz, Quartz Pseudomorphs after Jade, Fossil Wood, Petrified Wood and much more were identified in Wyoming and summarized in a book on World Gemstone Deposits by W. Dan Hausel and Wayne Sutherland. We had a great time putting the book together.

So, I am now writing this blog. This blog provides you with a brief discussion about all of these great lapidary and rock hound minerals and their locations. Over 30 years, the Gemhunter (that's me) found many interesting locations of gold, diamonds, and colored gemstones. Normally at this point in the blog, I would list my Facebook Account - but since FB censors Americans, I feel obligated to censor FB.
A few of the minerals collected from Wyoming and cabbed.
